What is an Empathic Counselor and Healer – it is a form of Holistic Psychology. Call me a therapist, counselor, reader, life coach, spiritual guide or shaman, whatever title you feel comfortable, I am there for others to find some peace and focus in their lives. I’ve been doing counseling for other in passing for years and thought maybe I should focus my own energies directly into helping others.

Bio

I have been involved in some form of counseling for others and have various college degrees related to this in Psychology, Sociology, Philosophy, Religious Studies as well as others. Being half Yaqui Native I have always been drawn to the Shamanistic rituals and healings from the various Native American (Nican Tlaca) tribes and continue my studies as I currently pursue a Certificate degree in Native Nations/Indigenous Peoples Studies at university.

I have always been drawn to the studies and philosophies of Carl Jung, Alan Watts, and Terence McKenna. I am currently doing Shamanistic studies from Wolf Moondance and soon to travel to Tucson Arizona to do interviews with the Yaqui tribe elders.

I write a blog as Shanti Scribe about my experiences and travels. Many to life changing events throughout the country. You can follow my adventures and see photos and video I take from these travels as well as links to many Kirtan, spiritual and yoga colleagues.

Healing Services

I call myself an Empathic Counselor and Healer - this natural healing relies basically on an empathic transfer of energy through healing hands or focused thought forms. As a child I was always called “tender hearted” and would become upset and cry easily in anxiety filled situations or when with others that experienced this. I was told as a child I was weak and had to grow up. Later in life when family or friends experienced trauma I was able to console them while feeling their “pain” also. The pain would soon pass from me and they would become at peace. The last few years this has become more intense for me, taking on someone’s physical, mental and/or spiritual pain. The client would feel better and I would become exhausted and feel the same pain they were experiencing but it would pass after a while and I would return to normal.

I read the book by Adam, “The Path of the Dream Healer” and soon learned I wasn’t the only one who experienced this phenomenon. Adam was called “The Miracle Worker” and was termed an “Energy Healer”. I don’t know if this is what I am, but it seems to be a form of this and if true, I can’t charge for healings. If I’m truly able to heal someone, then this is a gift, and I offer it to my clients after a counseling session. If you ask for a healing after session, I will do my best to transfer your pain to myself and release into the universe. I haven’t had someone not feel better or at peace after a session. Minister

I am a multi-faith ordained minister for the Universal Life Church Monastery, and I can legally perform marriages in the State of California. I am available for many different denominational ceremonies and also offer a special if available and attending at some event or music/yoga festival and it is last minute. I always come prepared and will surprise you with my unique and sincere ceremony. Contact me though this website for details and rates.

Talents

I also have many talents. For the past 30 years I have worked in either Hollywood or my own Production company and offer photography and videography services.
